Royal State Visit to Baarn 2011
On June 18, 2011 Baarn had the honour to welcome many Royal guests again. Like in 2008 they arrived by train and went for a tour to their former home Soestdijk Palace, followed by a tour through the village onto the Town Hall.
The new major of Baarn invited them for an official reception so they could have a little rest.
At half past three they were presented to the public in a spectacular show outside on Brink square. Many people came to watch the Royals in their original costumes and listened to the story about the Royal Family of The Netherlands.Never had Baarn seen so many kings, queens, princes and princesses...
